When plugged into the phone it is very hard to hear the person on the other line. When people call me they cannot hear me when I am using this headset.

This is either my third or fourth purchase of the various versions of this headset. About every 18 months, I have to replace it due to some part of the electronics (usually around the mute button) no longer working. Why do I keep coming back? Because it's comfortable, easy to wear, good sound quality both for me and for those on the other end of the call, and it has the mute button functionality. It's the best I've found with all these features, plus the price is terrific.

This unit could be great if it had an earbud. I've owned 3 of these... 1 for the car, one for the house and 1 broke when I gently stepped on it. The microphone works fine...I've been told that I sound clear and have never received a complaint in that regard. However, the ear piece is less than optimal. The flip ear piece is a nice idea, but it doesn't work well. It doesn't stay in the ear very well and doesn't block background sounds like an earbud would. If I'm using it on my home cordless phone, andtalking to someone on their home phone, no problems, I can hear clearly. But if I'm on a cell phone or the other person is on a cell, the sound quality is not so good. I constantly have to ask the others to repeat what they said especially if there is music or some other background noise on their end.
