It is an excellent product with one exception. When the caller is speaking on 'Speaker phone' an audible resonance can be heard at normal or above normal volume levels. I contacted Thomson and they sent me two replacement phones both of which had the identical problem and were returned. When I spoke to the Thompson rep he assured me the replacement phone would be tested prior to shipment, but that was obviously not done. It is apparently a design flaw. I like the phone enough to keep it but I sure would like this problem to be corrected.

Great Features, Poor Sound Quality

Although the features and styling are great, the poor sound quality was unacceptable, especilly for business calls. My voice would crackle on handset calls. People would ask why I was talking so low. Speakerphone calls were ruined by fading in and out voices even with the mute key on. I was attempting to replace an older AT&T 2- line phone to add features. This was not the model to replace it with.
