The antenna connector broke off 2 weeks after I got this as a gift for father's day. It has been 1 and 1/2 months and customer service through sirius has been awful!!! We have put our subsciption to sirius on hold. The docking station is cheap and gettinghelp with a problem through the company makes this very expensive option very unattractive.

This car kit came with my Starmate radio. Following only the quick 'Getting Started' guide gave me a pro looking installation in less than an hour. Choosing the installation location is key as is planning your cable route before you do it.

The only complaint I had, and I knew better anyway, was that the Circuit City sales rep billed this kit as being able to be moved quickly from car to car. Absolutely not. This is for a nearly permanent installation.

If you have any clue on following instructions and basic mechanical knowledge, you can hide all the wires and have a clean installation in less than an hour. Just follow the instructions and be creative on how to hide the wires. I ran mine along the trimin the ceiling of a Jeep Cherokee and hid the excess wire in the dashboard. In my parents Dodge Ram, I ran the wiring along the dash and hid the wiring in the split where the two pieces of the dashboard meet. If you can't install it yourself to make it look nice enough yourself, don't complain about the product, pay someone who has a clue to do it for you.

Five stars on compatibility as it works with the starmate 4 and the sportser 4. 5 stars for ease of use as I installed two of these in less than an hour and a half. Cost benefit...it was included in the package.
