Once you have hooked it up correctly it will work fine.I have had some probems with the manual.on how to hook up but I have some Electronics backround.This system work fine right off the bat .no problems with HDMI thru.I hooked it up thru my PS3 and setupmy HDMI settings on the PS3.It works fantastic. Amazing.Once you setup the sound setting to DTS-HD on movie the Home theater sets up to the correct sound.I am very pleased with this system and for the price you cannot bet the options you will get.Match it up with the new Sansung Blue ray 1500 that just came out and you will have unbelievable Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. home theater I also think you might want to get the optional 2 extra speakers to make it a 7.1

The package is perfect ! the set up book is a little miss leading,BUT the on line support is fantastic . love the sound when i hook up the blue ray player,samsung BDP-1500 & my LN40A750 samsung TV WOW!!!! The picture , sound everything is GREAT ! Everyone that see it says it's the best picture they ever seen EVER yet . Would highly recommend it for any picky film bluff of critic. You can't go wrong & you won't be disappointed with the sound either BUY IT TODAY!! I also purchase the optional 7.1 speakersto go along with the system . A well balance sound system that is so complete it will last you a long time

Well, I bought this package because I owned a Samsung 52A650 LCD and thought it would be great to have a sound system that I could control through the TV using that Anynet+. Well, my TV would not sync up with the AV receiver. I called Samsung Tech Supportand we were not able to link up the TV to the receiver. Then I read online that many people have trouble with this Anynet+. Oh well, so I bought a Logitech Harmony One remote. I love this remote and decided it was for the best anyways. Then a few days later, the DVD HDMI input stopped working. I only had this system for 5 days. Yuk. So I returned the unit because of the bad HDMI input and I felt no loyality to the receiver since the Anynet+ was not working correctly to my TV. I would have kept this system if the DVD HDMI input did not stop working. The Anynet+ not working was a let down, but the new remote I bought over came that problem. The sound quality was ok, easy to set up, directions easy to follow, and the cost was good. I felt I got a good deal,but again, the bad input forced me to return it. I did not want to chance getting another bad receiver, so I ended up buying the Denon 589 with the BA speakers. I love the Denon system, it was on sale and sounds a lot better than this Samsung system.
