I have had one for over 2 years, and mine hasn't broken. They are not indestructable-- just take care of it, and it will work....
They are excellent for vacations when visiting friends or family that have computers-- all they need is a usb port and theycan have copies of your pics!
Mine was especially useful while on vacation in europe!

It is a wonderful card to use if you do not have a card reader on your computer, but I have already gone through 3. They break extremely easy and they just seem to 'stop working' suddenly and my camera sends a message back saying 'card not usable'.
