BUYING A SDHC CARD WITH A READER IS A GREAT INVESTMENT. MY DESKTOP WAS NOT MADE WITH A CARD READER SO GETTING A READER IS A GREAT THING TO EXPAND YOUR PC'S CAPABILITIES. IT WILL READ STANDARD SD'S, MINI'S ,AND MICRO'S AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE SD ADAPTER. YOU WILL FIND IT EASIER AND FASTER TO TAKE YOUR MEMORY CARD FROM YOUR PHONE OR GPS AND ADD MUSIC,PICS, OR MEDIA STRAIGHT TO THE CARD. THE READER MAKES IT ALL POSSIBILE. BUY IT,LIKE IT,AND LOVE IT. THIS IS MY SECOND ONE. I NOW KEEP ONE FOR MY DESKTOP AND ONE WITH MY LAPTOP.

I recently bought the Extreme III as recomended by the salesman. According to him it is much faster but I cannot tell the difference between it and the Ultra. I would save my money and just buy the Ultra if just using for pictures.
