I had a phillps mp3 player and it was very bad. I just bought a Sandisk Sansa on 11-18-07. Its amazing the battery life is great and it takes no time at all to charge. The sound quality is stunning. The screen is very vibrant. And the best part of this product is that songs are very easy to put on. Click and drag all the songs on the sandisk sansa media conveter (which is included)

Good except for the earphone jack

I got the C250 for Christmas and it is very easy to use. You don't even need the Sansa software if you have Windows Media Player10 or 11. I just organize my music in the media player and then 'drag and drop' to the sync list, the media player does the rest.
Battery life is good, and the sound is excellent. I replaced the original earbuds with a better set of headphones, and it just made it that much better. It was easy to load pictures on, and I've also used the voice recorder feature and it worked well.
Now the bad, the one problem that I've had is that there is a problem with the earphone jack. The sound will just cut out on one side or the other and very rarely both. This usually lasts for 30 secs to a minute and then then the music will slowly fade back in. It seems like the louder you try to play the music, the more it does it. If you hit the end of a song before the music fades back in, that side 'automatically' restarts on the next song.
The sound is good when both sides are playing, in fact I'veeven used an RCA jack to hook to my home stereo and it sounded great. I wouldn't buy another C250 due to the earphone jack problem though.
