I had a phillps mp3 player and it was very bad. I just bought a Sandisk Sansa on 11-18-07. Its amazing the battery life is great and it takes no time at all to charge. The sound quality is stunning. The screen is very vibrant. And the best part of this product is that songs are very easy to put on. Click and drag all the songs on the sandisk sansa media conveter (which is included)

This unit is great ! You can use mp3 , or wma or wav . You get more with wma . The preset eq. is so-so , but , it comes with a manual eq. The playset is good . The only thing is you need to get a good earphones ,the pair that comes with this unit is all right , but , you will have a ear ache later , and the sound is not good . But , that's a minor , the set up is easy , and the expandable memory , a genius !

Bought in Jan 2007. Use it daily with no problems. Sound is great and battery time is great between recharges.
