Sanyo Eneloop NiMH Rechargeable AAA Batteries (4-Pack)

Features

Always ready to go: Unlike other rechargeable batteries, which must be charged before each use, Sanyo’s Eneloop batteries keep their charge so they’re ready to go right out of the packaging. Charge them and put them in a drawer for up to a year—they’ll still retain 90% of their charge.

High performance: These NiMH batteries will power high-drain devices such as MP3 players and digital cameras, and function in temperatures down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit.

Environmentally friendly: Stop throwing away hundreds of alkaline batteries. Each Sanyo Eneloop can be recharged about 1,000 times— that means if you use and recharge a battery once per week, it will last more than 19 years.

I use these controllers for video game controllers because of the ability to maintain charge. Given the sporadic use, NiMh batteries would not be viable as they lose charge quickly. Highly recommend these. Even bought 8 for my brother.

I have bought 4 packs of these to use in homebrew trail cameras...they outlast the toughest rechargables and can be recharged up to 1000 times before needing new ones! I also like that they only loose about 10% of their charge in 6 months, now that is dependable!
