For the price these earbuds are excellent

I have other earbuds and this is my bread and butter set. For the price these deliver. The default factory configuration was perfect for me-- these buds come heavily accessorized to reconfigure for one's taste. Sennheiser is a quality product and theyhave yet to let me down. A Sony earbud vs. a Sennheiser at comprable price-- Sennheiser hands down!!!! Happy and satisfied.

In regards to noise cancelling-- c'mon audiophile these are earbuds not headphones.

Decent earphones great price

These earphones are definitely better than the earphones that came with my mp3 player.

The sound quality was very nice. Definitely above average for a $20 pair of earphones. The Sennheisers had decent bass production (although not as much bass as those earbuds that have a perfect seal in your ear). The overall music reproduction was very nice too.

The shape of the earbuds are not for everyone, as their design has an extension on top. The extension keeps the earphones secure in your ear but could beuncomfortably secure for some people. The wires and the connection between the wire and earphones also look thin and a little flimsy. They might not last as long as some other earbuds that have thick wires and a long-lasting design.

These Sennheiserscome with the earphones and a case. DON'T USE THE CASE. I tried using it myself, but there was little space in it. The case broke as I tried to shove the earphones into it.

With all the criticism, $20 for those earphones is a bargain. These is definitely, no, really above average considering that they have great sound reproduction and a secure fit.

I've had these for 2 days now and let me get the good stuff out of the way before I do my griping.

As for the sound, it is exactly what I would expect out of Sennheiser. Very crisp sound, especially for the price! Not a whole lot of sound isolation.

The fit is awesome, the only reason I had to keep adjusting was due to my hopes of getting a little more sound isolation. The held in place through jogging, cycling and would hold in any type of cardio you could put these things through.

For the negatives, I already stated that there was little sound isolation which made it a little difficult to hear sometimes. The fancy case that comes with it is really hard to squeeze the headphones into. Lastly, the worst part of my whole review is that they broke onme the first time I used them. Yes, the first time! Granted, it doesn't effect the sound or anything like that but the outside of the headphones(the shiney part) isn't held on there very well and, while putting the things in my ear, broke off. Now, every time I use them, it comes off. Definitely not what I'd expect from a company like Sennheiser!!! I'm returning these to Circuit City in hopes that the next pair might be a little better and last me, uh idunno, 2 days?

Bottom line on sound - AWESOME (for the money(have them price match a competitor and you can get em for 24.99))

Bottom line on design - not so good, fell apart and very annoying to have to clip it back together every time you use them.
