This is the best accessory you can buy. The battery that comes with the videocamera is only good for about one hour. This one doesn't quite last 4 hours, but it is definitely worth the money if you won't have access to a place to recharge and want to usethe camera for any extended period of time.

Gives the option of using a longer duration battery. Only reason I marked down ease of use is the size of the battery makes using the view finder less comfortable.

The stock battery my camera came with only lasts about an hour. Now I can film and review a whole tape without changing batteries. It's easier than always having 2 or 3 extra batteries with you. This battery lasts about 4 hours.
