This remote is worth every penny. I had 4 remotes working my TV, cable box, DVD player and receiver and the all were replaced by the Sony RMVL600. The learning feature learned every button I sent it. For about $75 less than some remotes, this seems todo the same exact things.

Good remote, but won't last long

For the price, this remote has a lot of features and is simple to use. Had no problems prgramming it from my other remotes. My problem with it is that all these features are worthwhile only when it works. This remote is less than 6 months old, and it is already malfunctioning. I had reservations about buying this remote because of past experinces with this brand, and this one has proved no different.

Even in learning mode, it didn't work...so i went to sony remote web site and it doesn't have any codes for vizio and quite a few more brands. sony tech support walked me through the steps and nothing. i went with a harmony and it works great.
