This would be the perfect remote except that it does not have the erase feature to delete programs no longer desired on the menu screen... I love the range benefit though....I can sit at the dining table and control the TV with no problem....Prior to thisit was necessary to get up and move a few feet closer to activate.... I'm glad I have it! Thank You!!

i have a sony 36' tv and the remote wore out. i saw many negative reviews on this site , but bought it anyway. i came home, opened the package, slapped 2 batteries in it, and it worked on my tv with no programming or looking up numbers. it's as if it was built for my tv. it's perfect for my needs.

This worked with my Sony TV, but not with my Pioneer receiver, Scientific Atlanta cable box, or with other components. I spent more than half an hour with Sony on the phone having a bizarre conversation. I must have punched 500 buttons while wasting a Sunday afternoon.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT.
