Features

Cools mid-sized rooms: With 10,000 BTU, this air conditioner is perfect for cooling mid-sized rooms up to 490 square feet.

Adjustable thermostat: Set the thermostat to your desired temperature. The AC will keep you cool and comfortable.

Dehumidifier: This air conditioner features a dehumidifier with a capacity of 3 pints per hour.

Air filter: The SCA103RWC1 includes a mesh air filter with tilt-out access for clean and fresh air circulation.

Other features: The SCA103RWC1 also includes a remote control, three cooling and fan speeds, a 24 hour timer with sleep mode, a fresh air/exhaust vent, and a pleated quick-mount kit.

This A/C worked wonderfully for half a day. Then I tried to close the vent. The little piece that you are supposed to be able to push in to close the vent FELL INTO THE A/C UNIT when I tried to push it closed--there is no safety lock to keep it from doing so. It made a horrible grinding noise, so I turned it off. When I turned it back on, no air came out. I'm now in the process of trying to get someone to come over here and fix it, since I couldn't even install it, much less take it out of the windowand back to the store. I am very disappointed that I have to go through all this hassle already.

I bought this based on the reviews. It wasn't that difficult to set in although I could'nt screw it in due to my windows. The remote is pretty handy when you don't want to get up.
The tool that I REALLY LIKE is the Energy Saver button. It turns on and off when the room temperature has dropped or raised based on your desired setting. My room is 13x13 and it cools it down at 71 degrees. Not only that but it also cools the livingroom from my bedroom when I keep the door open.
It's a bit noisy, sounds like the inside of an airplane cabin but it's soothing when you go to bed.

Its pretty heavy but it works AWESOME. I love it. Bought one last year and it cools two rooms. Very powerful fan and cold air.
