Adjustable thermostat: This AC will keep you cool and comfortable—just set the thermostat to your desired temperature.

Dehumidifier: This air conditioner features a dehumidifier with a capacity of 3.8 pints per hour.

Air filter: The SCA123RWC1 includes a mesh air filter with tilt-out access for clean and fresh air circulation.

Cool features: The SCA123RWC1 also includes a remote control, three cooling/fan speeds, a 24-hour timer with sleep mode, a fresh air/exhaust vent, and a pleated quick-mount kit.

we have an older one and this one is alot easier to install ....you don't have to take the outside shell off to put in the window first......only bad thing is its louder than our old one....not alot but noticeable.....

I bought 2!

First, I have put in 4 room air conditioners in the last 5 years and this one is by far the easiest to install. Slide the vinyl panels into the side of the unit, put it in the window, plug it in. (It's not light though.)

This unit is IDENTICAL to a CURTIS unit I almost bought and the Curtis had a FRIGIDAIRE warranty card in the box. The remote and energy saving features on this one are as good as any I have seen (better really). The warranty is identical to the one on the frigidaire web site. If you want to pay more for a brand name - feel free.

Top it all off with what amounts to 20% off this week AND another 10% off for AAA members (go to their site for the coupon) and you'll be cool in more ways than one.

This unit was easy to install,and by using the remote,after reading the instructions,it was simple to operate and very effective for our use.Cost-benefit and durability are yet to be decided on.
