This was purchased for a second residential line. The sound quality is so bad that everyone ends up avoiding using this phone. The other line is always used and sometimes we prefer to wait on the good phone instead of using this one. It defeats the purpose of a second line. The only good aspect to this phone is the fact that the base unit works without electrical power. Nice feature in the event of a power outage.

I absolutely am so very pleased with this phone. I have the exact same model and I couldn't be happier. I have had no problems with the reception of the cordless or corded phone. The sound quality is excellent. I have had no problems talking in another room on the cordless phone as far as sound quality or anything else. Of course if the battery is low then you will have problems. Keep it charged and you will not have a problem.

I highly recommed this brand of phone to anyone. I wouldn't buy a different brand no matter what. This is not the first Uniden I have had and I haven't bought any other brand since my first Uniden many years ago.

I definitely highly recommend this phone. I hope you will have many years of happy chats on this phone as I have had.

I bought this phone so I could put the base in my office and use the cordless phone downstairs. The cordless phone is horrible, it is only 20 from the base (through walls) and I am unable to find a clear channel. I am extremely dissappointed with thisphone and would have returned it if I would have kept the receipt and box. So, I guess it's really my fault that I got ripped off. I would not buy this phone unless you can use the cordless phone in the same room as the base... Which really defeats the purpose of have a cordless phone.
