I can hear my wife whisper further then the range of these. my garage is not even 30' from where the base was located and it was out of range to even get a dial tone!! These are junk!!!! Two tin cans and some string would work better!!!! Guess i'll stickwith the AT&T phones and spend more money!!!

Given this is a cheap phone I didn't expect a lot, but this phone doesn't offer even a little. The phone I was replacing stopped charging on it's base (a 15 year old bottom of the line Uniden 900mhz), so off to the store I went. After all of the dropped calls, horrible static, and extremely poor range I returned it to and dug my old phone out of the trash and repaired it. My calls sound crystal clear once again and they don't drop when I walk in to my bedroom. This 5.8ghz phone has less than 1/10th of therange my old 900mhz has!

Had to return this phone no problem with the phone general operation I liked the extended range BETTER than the AT&T BUT the problem was no conference capabilities.
