Weather alerts: The Weather Alert System offers current updates and the ability to monitor all N.O.A.A. weather channels. The Specific Area Message Encoding (S.A.M.E.) will alert you to severe conditions in your immediate area.

Triple Watch Plus: This feature allows you to monitor emergency channel 16 and 9, another user selectable channel plus weather alert.

Fully loaded: This two-way radio holds up against the elements with a JIS4 waterproof level. The 1 Watt/5 Watt switchable power level lets you conserve when you need to without sacrificing range.

LCD display: The backlit LCD display on this radio is among the largest in its class. This display and backlit keypad makes it easy to use in low-light conditions.
