i got this remote for 39$..a great deal. This was the 3rd remote i bought cause the others couldnt program to my directv, this one did. It also programed with my tv, surround sound, and dvd player. With the learned feature you really need only this remote....Best remote i've ever bought!!

Buttons are all programmed but the Macro function refuses to work. I've spent 2 weeks trying to get it to work, and I can't see to get it right. Right now, it works no better than my multi-function Comcast DVR remote. I'll be returning it to CC this week.

I finally decided to get an all in one remote after 12 or so years of confusion with 5 or 6. The learning feature is great and something you don't find on more expensive remotes. There wasn't anything difficult about programming at all and this is my first time buying this type of remote. I'm pleased with the purchase and wish I'd have done it sooner.
