Mounting unit has a flaw !

Out of the box this item seems that it would work well has nice lines and looks sturdy. However, once I took the time to drill the necessary holes in my kitchen wall and mount the unit, the TV would not hang plumb. I made sure the mounting bracket was level and plumb, but once I mounted the TV it wasn't acceptable. The problem is the black plastic piece that is found on the mounting head that attaches to the back of the TV. It is then slipped into place on the cantilivered arm. There is too much playin the plastic piece due to the weight of the 15' TV. When you extend the arm and swing it from side to side the TV is no longer level. Save yourself the aggravation and purchace another unit. Someone missed this at quality control.

Out of the box this item seems that it would work well has nice lines and looks sturdy. However, once I took the time to drill the necessary holes in my Bedroom wall and mount the unit, the TV would not hang plumb. I made sure the mounting bracket was level and plumb, but once I mounted the TV it wasn't acceptable. The Tv was a Samsung 22' LCD. After taking the bracket off the wall and took a closer look & I noticed the hinges are not machine true. Each hinge is off causing the leveling problem to mutiply. If the head was able to be adjusted so it could be level straight across that would solve the problem.

We had a hard time getting the TV level it took somedoing to get it level other wise it is a nice looking product only had it for a day so we will see if it is good quality
