Worst phone I've ever owned.

I was expecting this to be a good interm replacement for my Slice which got ran over by a Volkswagon (ok, not really, but volkswagon sounds funnier), however, this phone has given me nothing but headaches.

On the outside there is NOTHING wrong with it, it looks like a solid simple flip phone, the problems don't start till you turn it on and try to use it. If you've used any cell phone in the last few years you know that when you press say, the menu button, it pretty much pops up..but this phone takes about 2 seconds to bring the menu up. The contact list is worse if you have a lot of contacts on it, taking up to 5 seconds to appear. Text messaging is a nightmare as it takes half a second to process any keystroke and if you're planning on using predictiveentry, the extra processing will slow the phone to a crawl, making you enter letters slower than if you were using the traditional triple tap. Trying to use the intenret is a nightmare as well. Scrolling through a page is sluggish...taking at least a second between keypress and screen movement. If you're in the middle of texting when you get a call, oops, you'll wind up pressing a button that'll mute your ringer before you even realize you have a call...and once in a while, when you flip the phone opentosee who's calling, the display will lock up and not even register that you have a call.

Aside from the fact this thing runs like it's being powered by an Atari 2600, it's got average quality sound, sounding really tinny at times, an average LCD that'sdiffently nothing to write home about, horrible sounding ringtones and a battery life that will get you MAYBE 16 hours at that. This could be just my indvidual phone/battery, however, you're better off not to risk it.

this is the most annoying and ugly phone in the world. this thing freezes up quite a bit and the worst internet. it costs 2.50 just for a 24 seconed ringtone and 2.00 for a wall paper. Another thing is the front of the phone, who wants to walk around witha phone that says Virgin mobile on the front

I got it for my 11 year old daughter. It's lightweight and small (fits easily anywhere). The only problem we have is that inside the house it does not have any signal (no service). She has to go outside to get a signal. Which is okay with me, she gets touse it less often. I originally bought it for emergency use only, after school use (which she does have good signal).
