Can't use with existing Vonage number

We wanted to get the V-Phone to use on vacations using our laptop, but found out after purchasing it, that we have to buy an additonal number to use the Vonage V-Phone.

So unless you are using your laptop for your main account instead of your PC, the V-Phone will cost you a monthly fee.

I had no problem using this with my existing Vonage #. You just have to register the new equiptment, and go on your account to switch to the equiptment you are using. You will hold for a while, but that is with any company these days. The convenience isworth it.

you can use your current vonage

Vonage already has software that you can download onto your laptop for no extra charge and connect thru your pc with your current number for no additional charge. The v-phone is handy when you do not have your laptop because it lets you use any availablepc connection. It is true you are assigned a number with the v-phone, however, there is a way to transfer your current Vonage number to the device.WHY would you purchase the v-phone when you already have these options? And for another 10 bucks a month tohave another line and number seems like a great deal to me!
Personally it makes a lot more sense to simply download the free software from Vonage to use with your existing number.... then just get yourself a good pc headphone and mic combo!!!

All you need is a Vonage V-Phone and you can utilize the Move-A-Number feature!

Exsisting Vonage customers, CAN ADD AN ADDITIONAL LINE.

OR YOU can choose the MOVE existing number to the device.
Login to your Online Account.
Select Send me a new Phone Adapter for use with my additional line., then select Continue
Choose to be assigned a new number or transfer an existing number to Vonage, then select Continue.
Select the V-Phone, then select Continue.
Input your shipping address, then select Continue.
Select your desired shipping option, then select Continue.
Input your 911 Address, then select Continue.
After reading the 911 terms and conditions, click I Accept
Review your order and click Accept
