It works magnificently. I got the 8X6 version because I needed the space to record my math tutoring sessions for my Algebra and Calculus students. I suspect the smaller version is probably more than enough space than anyone needs. It works on all versions of USB (1.1 and 2.0) and the old XP. It's MAC compatible as well. If you use it for drawing....WOW. If you use it for writing, like me....WOW
2 (wow squared) math humor). It writes on the screen like if you were writing on paper. I use Photoshop CS as my 'paper' and can only say one thing. Cut to the chase and get this. I know they have the Bamboo version but the resolution and sensitivity is twice that of the Bamboo. It's 65.5% more than that the Bamboo of same size (8X6) but you get what you pay for.Anyway, you only spend it once but benefit from the output. My support for this product comes from the success of producing 'natural-looking' writing on the screen. Look at other customer's comments for a perspective view on the artistic elements this product provides.

I love this tablet. I upgraded from the graphire. I do a lot of artwork and photo retouching. I use Photoshop, Corel Paint and Corel Paint shop Pro most of the time. The intuous has certainly made my life easier!!
