Was not sure I wanted a back pack for my laptop and then I saw this pack. This has been perfect--no regrets. My 17 inch HP fits. I have carried a large textbook and notebooks in this bag. It is not light but the nice thing is even when loaded it 'carries' well.

Had it about a week. Excellent quality with lots of pockets. It is very comfortable with tons of padding for your back. It does fit the Dell Vostro 17 inch notebook fine. A little expensive but if you catch it on sale it is a must for those with largenotebooks!!!

So my husband and I are full time students. I had a roller backpack which is a complete pain the butt. He purchased the Merlet model and I got the Pegasus. I have terrible back problems but thisbackpack is unbelievable! I have my tablet notebook plus some extremely heavy books in it and it feels very comfortable. The extra padding is wonderful. The straps are soft and it over all makes my life easier. The only thing is that I wish it had the hook on the outside like my husbands so I an clip my waterbottle to it because it is too large for the side pockets. NEED A GOOD STURDY BACKPACK? GET THIS ONE!!!!!!
