I purchased two of these drives to put into a Linksys NAS200. I popped them right in, they were great right from the start!!

I'd recommend this drive to anyone!! @ $199...it's an even better deal!

Runs rings around the stock drive that came with my Compaq PC.

I had to use the screws that came with the PC, as the HD's use a slide in mount. You may need an old type power connector adapter - this drive only has the new SATA type and my PC only onlyhad 2 SATA power connectors.

I used the Widows XP disk management snap in and had the drive partitioned and formatted without a hitch.

Everything runs quicker on the drive including utilities and large video files that load and run in a flash.

Works like a charm.
However, Dell 8300 bios won't recognize it and shows 'unknown device' for secondary SATA device, but that's a Dell problem, not Western Digital.
