Product failed in less than 1 year - don't buy it!

This product failed in 11 months, and Western Digital's customer service is terrible. It took 3 weeks for them to recognize within their system that my product was under warranty. I will never buy another WD product again.

I was a lil scared after reading all the reviews, but for the price i HAD to take a chance, PLU, for this item Circuit City does not charge a restocking fee and so they let you 'try it for 14 days to see if u will like it'. Well, i only needed about 5 seconds (if THAT)!!! For one thing, i have my 'Autorun' disabled, so i didn't have to install ONE IOTA of unwanted software. In fact, i havent installed ANY thing, or FORMATTED one dang thing. It plugs in and i just click on 'E' drive, drag files to it,and i'm DONE! It lets me bring it to my Laptop running Windows 32 bit Vista, My old Acer running XP and my new Acer running Vista 64 bit and it has YET to complain or give me ONE ERROR! If everything else in my world ran one gabillioneth as easy as this, i'd be a happy woman!!! BUY IT!!!!!
