This was a great buy - gets frequent play. The ski jumping was real tough at first - I still wipe out fairly often. But I love the different skiing events - the ski controls take a bit to get used to. They both use the remote and nunchuck.

The figure skating is a bit hokey - you use the remote and nunchuck sort of like drum sticks and you have to hit to the beat of the music when remote/nunchuck icons pass through a circle.

Bobsled, Luge, and Skeleton are pretty fun but the bobsled start-off gets toughafter a few times. You do small circular motions with the remote as fast as you can to try to build up to 100% - forearms were burning after a few rounds of that.

Cross Country skiing uses the ski-pole motions with the remote and nunchuck.

If you do career or a set of events, it seems like you're forever popping on and off the nunchuck since it's about 50/50 for events that use the nunchuck and events that don't.

It gets less forgiving the further you get in the career, so it stays challenging - like in the early rounds you can miss a gate in skiing and get -2 sec penalty, but do it in the later rounds and you're immediately disqualified.

I have to say, out of all my more expensive wii games, this cheaper game gives me way more excitement than those other games. I don't know what some guy is saying about explicit content in it... never seen anything like that! It's definitely challanging... but eventually you'll get the hang of it. I would definitely buy this game, buy it before you spend $60 on a game that turns out to be quite boring!
