The Cable and receiver assembly work great I have not had any issues with mine. Sound quality is great. It took only 15 minutes to install the system and the cables plugged right in to the head unit (Sony). I have not had any resetting issues with mine.Being that the mini receiver gets its power from the head unit there may an issue with the way it is set up. The installation was easy no tying into power it just plugs in and go. I installed mine in my Jeep with a Sony radio with no issues 15 minutes later I was listening to the radio. (XM Mini-Tuner with Car Kit) NOW for the only issue YOU CAN NOT PROGRAM IT (XM Mini-Tuner with Car Kit) WITH VISTA. VISTA would not recognize the driver and kept rejecting it. I still have a computer with XP and in 5minutes it was programmed. The sound quality is great. I put my PIB behind my glove box and attached the mini receiver to the inside of the glove box for easy removal if I get an interface for the home stereo. The cables (extra) where easy to install, the whole system get it's power from the Radio (Sony CT-510) so do not have any extra wires going to my fuse box. It was nice to the price drop to a more affordable range.

Works great, sounds great. Circuit City had no problem installing it and if you buy it with the XM Direct 2 Tuner (you have to search for the part number on CC's website...CNP2000UC or the XM Mini-tuner with Car Kit) you get 15% off!
